Man Lowered Through The Roof Craft

This week we began with the man through the roof story healing of the paralysed man from mark 2 1 12.

On sunday our 3 5s will be exploring the story of the man who was lowered through the roof for jesus to heal. When jesus saw their faith he told the paralyzed man that his sins were forgiven. When he returned to capernaum after some days it was reported that he was at home. When the man s friends carried him to the house where jesus was staying they found the house to be packed with people wanting to hear jesus and be healed by him.

One of the things we will really be thinking about is why we are grateful for our feet and legs and we ll certainly be doing a fair bit of jumping around. The friends climbed up an outside staircase and dug a hole through the roof. When they had broken a space big enough through the roof the four men let the man down through the roof. We made a craft using a square envelope for the house.

This bible activity is a word scramble based on jesus actions to heal and forgive a lame man who was lowered before him through the roof of the house where he was teaching. Make two small holes in the roof. Wednesday 6 march 2013. Allow enough wool so the man can be lowered.
